Physicians across the RCA network continued to shape the future of retina care at this year’s American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) 44th Annual Meeting. Physicians from 15 RCA-affiliated practices contributed to more than 30 presentations, sharing research and clinical insights that are helping advance care for patients around the world.
The meeting also recognized two RCA physician leaders for their contributions to the field. Carl C. Awh, MD, FASRS (Tennessee Retina) received the ASRS Founders Award, while Joel A. Pearlman, MD, PhD, FASRS (Retinal Consultants Medical Group) received the Packo Award for his exceptional service to ASRS.
