We’re proud to celebrate our two latest RCA MVPs!

Research MVP Award

Victoria Kar Yin Lee of Colorado Retina has won our Research MVP Award, dedicated to her leadership and contributions to the research team.

Victoria came to CRA at a time of tumult in the research department. Staff turnover was at an all-time high, we had unstable management, and sponsors were hesitant to work with our site. Her background as a retina trial CRC helped her lead by example as she nurtured the professional and personal growth of our research team.

Victoria has helped bridge the communication and organizational gap between clinic staff and our research team beyond anything we have seen at CRA in the past. Her collaborative spirit has allowed us to share staff and resources with our RCA partners in CO springs

She has singlehandedly turned around our research staff culture, pushing for accountability, quality, and patient safety at all levels of the department. This has led to unparalleled physician confidence and trust in our research department. Victoria is proactive with her communication with PIs and seeks feedback/guidance on a regular basis. She deftly navigated our last FDA audit and demonstrated such significant site improvement since her term at CRA that we were not issued a 483.

Our confidence in her leadership is leading us down a path of building out a second research site!”
