As part of RCA’s 2026 research initiatives, we’re excited share the updated overview and guidelines for this year’s mentorship program, as well as our plans to strengthen collaboration between Clinic, Research, and the RCA Referral Center efforts.
2026 Physician Mentorship Program
In 2025, RCA’s physician mentorship program continued its great success. We established 10 mentors across 7 practices, strengthening our training visibility across sites.
Our program aims to create stronger structure, consistency, and communication across research sites, reducing errors, improving documentation, and elevating patient care. In doing so, we are also reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and standardization to support onboarding, assessments, and site collaboration.
In 2026, the mentorship program will increase focus on new hires, prioritizing onboarding and training plans across clinics. As a reminder, mentors can receive $1,000 annually for participating in this program. For more information, contact Rebecca Kyte at rkyte@retinaconsultantsofamerica.com.
Clinic Collaboration Overview
A core initiative at RCA is clinic collaboration. By strengthening our communication and operational alignment between Clinic, Research, and the RCA Referral Center, we can support successful patient referrals and clinical trial engagement across all locations.
